How this works

From snapshot to signal

Each indicator shows two windows side by side — a five-year arc for the structural story and a one-month close-up for the current move. A scheduled job pulls each latest figure once a day, so the curves build a genuine history over time.

The selection is deliberate: the EU-ETS carbon price is the cost Europe puts on emitting; copper, the platinum group metals, lithium, and cobalt are the physical bottlenecks of electrification, clean hydrogen, and batteries; and Brent is the fossil benchmark the whole transition is racing to undercut. Brent, copper, and the platinum group metals come from live market feeds; carbon, lithium, and cobalt are manual snapshots with the caveats noted above.
